readme for apache longbow real3d V1.4 object by Liam Kesteven finished on 8/11/96 Here's my first real try at an object in real3d and as you can see its not bad!. It took me about a month to make on and off. Please feel free to copy, release or edit this Object to your needs but if you release a pic or anim with it in it (even in edited form) please credit me for It. Of course if you like to send something nice (Like 32MB Simms or a nice Big Hard Drive do feel free!?!?!?!?!?!? ;-)) but if not a postcard will do I hope to release more objects soon and get into real3d v2 so I can do some really nice objects! Anyway I recommend at least 6MB of ram to render it (even then you might have to simplify it) The 800x600 24bit preview took 18MB and about 12 hours to render on an A1200 with Blizzard 1230IV (thats a 50mhz 030/882) for you techheads out there. If you want to get an normal Apache (Boring) Just delete the longbowradome and sidewinders drawers in the hierachy (you do know how to do that dont you) Quick listing of achive contents File Discription Size longbow.R3D The object file 813908 longbow.iff24 800x600 preview of object 390490 readme.r3d What yah reading now!! 1759 file_id.diz quick archive contents 53 you can contact me at Email at ottie@synflux.com.au or snail mail me at Liam Kesteven 2/3 Constitution Rd Dulwich Hill Sydney N.S.W.
