What is it?
CMP compares two files

How to use it?
CMP File1 File2 Gulp
First the programm compares the lengths of the files if they are not
identique the programm stops. Are they, the programm compares he first
{gulp} bytes then the next and so on. If the programm found a difference it
stops also. {Gulp} are the bytes read in one "gulp" if the gulp is bigger
the programm runs faster, but needs more memory.

Why another compare?
Until yet I only had FCmp V1.2 by Michael Heidler (Hi Mikelos!) then I
tried out an arexx script for Dopus with this compare, but ... comparing
two files of 1.4MB wasn't finished after 5mins, and that with DynamicCache,
two fast HDs and a 68030 with 50MHz.... There must be something wrong. I
can realize it better even with MaxonBasic and voilą:

The test shows you the comparing of two 622332Bytes big files:

(1) The errors that occured with a gulp superior then 128k are IMO due the
HD, because they don't occure with DCache.
