MagicMenu2MUI © 1997 by Mario 'padrino' Cattaneo 1. Introduction ------------ First I'd like to tell all of you, who think the development of Magic Menu has stoped as there is no newer version since 2.15: YOU ARE WRONG! The fact that there are no updates has nothing to do with a droped support, It's just that V2.15 is stable (You have problems? Well, then contact olsen@sourcery.han.de) and at the moment there are no real changes necessary. So, PLEASE no more of *those* mails, OK? ;-) Now, what is this archive all about? Well, I am bored of all those different styles on my Workbench and so I descided to start giving all the same look, well kind of... So, here are images for the use with MUI which should bring it closer to the Magic Menu look :-) 2. Legal stuff ----------- This software is provided as is. I do not claim it to be complete or bugfree. Use it at your own risk. I can not be blamed for any damage that may occur as a result of you using this software! 3. Status ------ This software is FREEWARE. You don't have to pay anything for it as long as it is not used for commercial purpose. In that case you would have to contact me first! Spread only the _whole_ archive, and maybe if you like it, or have anything to say about it, drop me a mail... 4. Author ------ If you would like to contact the author, which is me ;-) Just use one of the following ways: My *new* address: Mario Cattaneo Paul-Marien-Straße 6 D-66111 Saarbrücken Germany My *new* EMail: maca@coli.uni-sb.de My one and only homepage (WWW): http://fsinfo.cs.uni-sb.de/~cattaneo/ Further projects of mine are TinyMWBCol1_6.lha, SmileFonts1_1.lha and pre_pad-Diavolo.lha. All available on aminet®. 5. Installation ------------ Just copy the drawer "padrino" (not only the contents!) to "MUI:Images/". If you had/have already started MUI end it, type "avail flush" in a shell an restart. This should be it, the images are successfully installed :-) Configure MUI to use them as usual. 6. Known Bugs ---------- None of my fault :-) Well, the images have the right palette, but MUI das not care... So it may be that MUI does a wrong remapping and therefore the images look ugly. In this case, go ahead and tell it Stefan Stuntz the author of MUI (stuntz@sasg.com). 7. History ------- V1.0: First public release (05/19/97)
