Uropa 2
Has passed some months from the last review of a game set in space, so Austex software, an australian team of programmers, decided that time is come to release their first game, Uropa 2.
The game is set in Europa one on the moons of Jupiter, where the local colony has been attacked by evil aliens. Your task is to defeat alien's army and save the colony. Uropa 2 is divided into two main sections,
the first, where you control a robot, is inside the base and is represented by an isometric perspective, while the second, where you guide a space craft, is outside the colony and it's represented by a 3D view in solid light sourced polygons. So gfx is quite good in the 2D section and also in the 3D's one,
with a good use of colour in both and with a lot of polygons in 3D. Sound is composed by sound effects or by music, in both cases the quality is good. Also playability is good with a lot of missions. The game is well designed, and can
be very enjoying for those who like space action. Uropa 2 won't be the best space game, but we recommend you to see at least the demo avaible on Aminet to judge by yourself if you want to defeat all the aliens.
