Burnout
Vulcan presents this racing game that is very similar to DMA Design's Destruction Derby.
The game is set in future where Burning has becone the new sport. In an arena 4 cars (controlled by players or computer)
try to destroy each other to win the match. The game is all here there are no changes to game structure the only change possible is of level gfx
or of cars (or even of parts of your car). Talking of gfx this is surely the best aspect of the game with a massive use of renders for cars and backrounds.
Gfx is in 256 colours hi res mode. Sound is excellent too with good musics and sfx. The negative aspect of the game is playability infact Burnout is very repetitive
with the same action (destroy enemies' cars) repeted in every level. Burnout could become a classic if only the authors gave the same attention they deserved to gfx to gameplay.
