In this section of the GUI, you can define which icons the program
should use for each of its states (NONE, OLD and NEW).
Name
- Here you can specify the name that the icon will show in this
state, e.g. 'No Mail', 'Only Old Mail' or 'Wow! New Mail!'.
The small gadget next to the string gadget brings up a requester
which specifies the codes that can be included as part of the name.
These codes will be parsed by MailWatch every time it refreshes the
icon:
| %a
| ARexx alias
|
| %n
| File/directory name
|
| %s
| File/directory size
|
| %%
| The character '%'
|
Action
- This collection of gadgets is used to give the program a filename
to execute when this state occurs.... you may want to play a sound
when new mail arrives, for example, or run a filtering or
archival program.
Icon
- The icon that you wish to be displayed by the program to denote
this state. (Only relevant for those modules
that use this setting.) Some example icons are included in the
MailWatch distribution, but these are just examples. Any
icons can be used by the program.
X & Y
- These gadgets specify the location of the AppIcon for this state
(only used by appicons.mwdf ATM).
