If you own Xenolink Pro BBS you may use it freely and spread it to other users of Xenolink, as long as the archive remains in it's original state! Add or Remove. * Added: Programme now handles upto 100 levels in Xareafix. * Added: The listing of levels now haltes every 20'th level where you can chose to go on or stop the listing. WHAT IS IT: ~~~~~~~~~~~ Do you find it difficult to remember to configure every datafile when adding a new point or a node? Like if you have both Xareafix and Maildaemon installed in your system, and therefor must add the new address to each config? Or if you want to remove a point/node, it's a hell of a job to find all the entries! Then this programme might help you, making it as easy as possible to add a new point and just as easy to remove an old! INSTALLATION: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * Copy the library to your LIBS: path. * Edit and copy the file 'PAdder.env' to your ENV: path. The file is built up like this: Line 1: Your nodeaddress. Ex. 2:200/621.0 Line 2: Default packer. Ex. LHA Line 3: Default Linkup. Ex. EMSI Line 4: Default Mailtype. Ex. HOLD Line 5: Default Pktcheck. Ex. NOCHK Line 6: Area to add automaticly. Ex. XENOLINK_UTIL or XENOL . . . Line x: Last autoarea. You may add commentlines starting with a ';', but ONLY AFTER the line with the default Pktcheck! The new point/node will automaticly be connected to the areas stated by the tagnames listed after your nodeaddress (one on each line!). Like if you have a local echo-section for your points, you could enter the tagname here! The programme can handle upto 50 autoareas! REQUIREMENTS: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The following paths and/or files MUST be found: Xenolink:FidoNet/SYSTEMS.CONFIG Xenolink:FidoNet/ROUTE.CONFIG Xenolink:FidoNet/AREAS.CONFIG LIBS:hbasic2.library If you wish to use the XAreafix autoadd mode: Xenolink:Configuration/xareafix/XAreaFix.config (Xenolink:Configuration/xareafix/FileAreas.config - for autoareas) If you wish to use the MailDaemon autoadd mode: Xenolink:Configuration/MailDaemon/ USAGE: ~~~~~~ Run the programme with no arguments. First question, Add or Remove point/node? ADD: You will be asked some questions with its defaultsettings stated in brackets, this will be used if just pressing RETURN: > Node/Pointaddress: The address of the point/node to add. If a point, you may just enter the point (ex .3). > Packer : Which packer to use, default stated in .env file. > Linkup : What kind of linkup, default stated in .env file. > Mailtype : Hold or send mail, default stated in .env file. > Pkt check : Check pkts for PW, default stated in .env file. > Password : A password with 1-8 characters. If you don't want to use the default settings: > Packer : Complete name of packer required. > Linkup : Complete name required. > Mailtype : H=HOLD, S=SEND or complete word. > Pkt check : N=NOCHK, C=CHECK or complete word. A question about if you'd like to route the mail direct or not will pop up. If you answer Y on this, the ROUTE.CONFIG will be added to like this: ROUTE x:xxx/xxx.x / If you answer N, no action will be taken, and the mail will be routed as normal mail. If you add a point, you should allready have configured ALL your points with for instance ROUTE 2:200/621.* / and therefor you don't have to set DIRECT on them. Next question: Connect the autoareas or not? Y = the address will be connected to all the autoareas stated in the .env file. N = no action will be taken. The programme can handle upto 500 different systems! XAreafix: If an XAreafix configuration is found, you're asked if you'd like to add the address. If yes, you'll get a list of available levels and you're to chose one of them by stating the number in front of the levelname. Next: Set SEND on this system? (Y/n) Pretty obvious I think, set SEND or NOSEND in XAreafix on the point! The password entered before will be used both as Tickpsw and Areafixpsw. TICKSEND will allways be chosen. If HOLD on system, HOLD will be chosen, if SEND on system, DIRECT. All the systems in config will be sorted by address. The programme can handle upto 500 different systems and upto 100 levels! MailDaemon: If MailDaemon is found, you're asked to add or not. If yes, you'll be asked for the name of the user. If address allready in list, no action will be taken. If name in list but not address, address will be added to name. If both name and address isn't found, a new entry will be added. If the address ends with .0 the address will be added to the node config, and if anything else, to the point config. All the systems in the config will be sorted by name of the user. The system can handle upto 500 points or 500 nodes. REMOVE: Only one question in this mode: > Node/Pointaddress: The address of the point/node to remove. If a point, you may just enter the point (ex .3). All data and configfiles will be scanned for the address, and if found, the entry will be removed!
