Das gibt das Zeichen wieder, das am Anfang jeder Zeile eingesetzt werden soll. Meistens werden dafür die Initialien jener Person eingesetzt, die zitiert wird, gefolgt von der Zeichenkombination "> ", die den Abschluß bildet. Soll die nicht mit dem erzeugten Quotentext über- schrieben werden, so kann eine neue bestimmt wer- den.
