The Registered Version!

    You'll notice a few references in the README file to the "Evaluation"
version, versus the "Registered" version.

    The files contained in this archive make up the "Evaluation Archive",
and are in NO WAY crippled from use. Any bugs discovered in this coding
will be corrected and rereleased as soon as possible, so as to make this
version of Platinum the MOST POWERFUL and MOST USED Filelist Generator for
ANY CNet Amiga BBS!

    However, just as I've done in the past concerning Wheel of Fortune, I've
decided to make certain "extras" available to those who register. First, a
list of the known elements which will make up the "Registered Release":

    - An online VIEWER Program, so that your users can view ANY of the lists
      you've created, provided they have access to them. This includes BOTH
      the ability to view TEXT and AMIGAGUIDE files ONLINE.

    - The ability for a user to view an AmigaGuide listing, and then to
      click on a filename and have that file automatically tagged/selected
      for downloading(provided they have room in their Select Buffers).

    - Slightly optimized coding that can suppress EMPTY directories from
      being listed in the filelistings(so instead of seeing the header text
      for the directory, followed by the "There are no files in this dir..."
      text, the directory itself would be SKIPPED and no text would appear
      in the filelisting(as if the directory didn't exist).

    - The ability for a user to view a list of directory paths, choose from
      among them to create their OWN grouping of directories, then have
      Platinum create a customized listing just for them(using a background
      task, similar to the way YANKING works). The user will be alerted if
      the list is finished and they are still online, else the file will be
      added to the users Select Buffer for the next time they logon.

    - A separate module which has been stripped of the "internal infos"
      checking, but which scans the directories via DOS ONLY. These lists
      would contain only the Name, Size, File Comment Description, and AGE,
      however would be created in 1/3 to 1/4 the amount of time it would
      take the "full blown" version to do it in.

    - And any other little tidbits I can dream up!

    So, there you have it. Now for the monetary aspect. To register a copy

    You will be issued a keyfile and will have the ability to receive the
registered files(when available) in a variety of ways:

            - You can call Frontiers BBS and DOWNLOAD them.

            - You can DOWNLOAD them off my WEB PAGE.

            - I can UUENCODE them in an EMAIL message(Internet Only).

            - I can create HOLD NetMail for you to pick up via direct
                "Mailer to Mailer dialing".

            - I can "Snail Mail" them to you(free if within the US, or
                for an additional $5.00 if outside the US, as I don't
                trust Parcel Post, so WILL take the extra precaution
                of using appropriate disk mailers).
