I coded Chaos Scan because I didn't like very much the look of the original file listing functions of DayDream and moreover because I wanted a fast #file number tagging routine and a reverse scanning function.. Chaos Scan displays a prompt every time the list reaches the bottom of the screen. Here you can (Y) resume the scanning, (N) abort it, (T) tag files for downloading, (?) read the about scroll (DO IT!!). Some words for the tag routine that allows you to select files by name, by the unique number associated to each file AND ALSO BY BOTH AT THE SAME TIME. I mean that at the tag prompt you can enter "1 2 3", "FOOBAR.LHA PIPPO.DMS" but also "FOOBAR.LHA 3 4 PIPPO.LHA". Innovative, isn't it? From V1.17 of DayDream, the function I used to break the about scroll has been modified and now the user is no longer able to stop the scroll by pressing a key.
