Amiga. Weckt den Tiger in Dir...

Well... Yet another imaginary advertisement. This time it's in German only, and somehow translates to "Amiga. Wake up the tiger in you". Admittedly, it sounds crap in English, but it's nice in German.

The slogan was loosely inspired by some Kelloggs (sp?) advertisement, I sincerely hope that they won't sue me... ;-)

The comparison of the small cat to a tiger is in my opinion suitable for the Amiga, too. The Amiga is only a small cat when compared to modern PC's, but if it wants to, it can show its claws too. And as we all know, the claws of small cats can sometimes be as effective as the claws of a bigger animal, but the small cat is much more elegant and doesn't show such a brute and unnecessary force.

As an advertisement, the picture of the cat and its obvious cuteness would be good for marketing reasons. Ever noticed how many small children or baby pets are used to advertise goods?

Technically speaking, the picture is not that brilliant. The scan, originally done by David Bulmer and uploaded to the Aminet by Richard@rllee.demon.co.uk as pix/fauna/chi.jpg is of a fairly low quality and I had to blur the picture to hide the very visual dithering.

I hope you like the idea nevertheless...
