@node Introduction "Workbench Boot Pictures for AmigaOS, Volume #6 - Introduction"

Introduction
------------

Yes, another set of Workbench boot pictures for AmigaOS, this the sixth
collection.

This collection was inspired by the recent distribution of the "official"
Amiga Technologies GmbH AmigaOS 3.1 kits. This set really reflects the
designs chosen by Amiga Technologies to represent the future releases of
the AmigaOS. I might also like to add that its nice to see the
traditional tick back!

This volume contains five 640x512, 256 colour IFF boot pictures. I am
hoping to produce more variations of this series and release them in the
coming months.

So what are boot pictures anyway? Well they are for use with picture
booting utilities such as BootScreen, PicBoot and AmigaStart to display a
nice start-up image while your Hard Disk is booting, much like Microsoft's
Windows.

These pictures were drawn by hand exclusively with Deluxe Paint V.

Hope you enjoy them :-)
