AmiTribe is a collection of boot pictures, featuring the AmiTribe logo invented by me. They can also be used as workbench backgrounds.
This directory contains the AmiTribe logo in several different sizes and variations; some of them contain text suitable for a bootpicture.
The AmiTribe logo came to my mind while trying to draw a normal Amiga checkmark logo. I played a bit with the Rotate option of PPaint and quickly discovered that three Amiga checkmarks form a nice logo.
The name is loosely (sp?) inspired by the Sepultribe logo invented by Sepultura. People with the Chaos A.D. or Arise CD's will know what I mean, although the actual drawings don't bear any similarity.
The pictures are in GIF format, most are in Multiscan (640x480) 32 colors, the other ones are in PAL LowRes 64 colors. I'm using GIF pictures, because that makes the archive about 40k smaller.

This is the second version of AmiTribe and it includes two new pictures. The initial release was available on Aminet since 21-Jul-96.
Thanks to Mike Manning for being the only one to write a mail for AmiTribe. Even though AmiTribe is not Mailware, I would still appreciate a short message if you like and use it.
