Es ist eine Alternative zu dem normalen Exchange und benutzt das MagicUserInterface von Stefan Stuntz. Der Unterschied zwischen C='s (oder AT's) Exchange und CxBar ist, daß CxBar die Commodities als Buttons (Cycle-Gadgets) in einer horizonta- len oder vertikalen (umschaltbar!), einzeiligen bzw. einspaltigen virtuellen Gruppe erscheinen läßt. Jeder Button hat eine Hilfe-Sprechblase die den Titel und die Beschreibung des Commodities anzeigt, weiterhin wird noch angezeigt, ob das Commodity ein Fenster, welches aufgepopt oder versteckt werden kann, besitzt ("GUI: JA" or "GUI: NEIN"). Zudem kann optional ein SizeGadget zum Verändern der Fenstergröße (funktioniert wie das "normale") und ein DragGadget zum Verändern der Fensterposition (funktioniert wie das "normale") eingeschaltet werden. Das SizeGadget erscheint rechts bzw. unten und das DragGadget links bzw. oben. Außerdem öffnet sich das Fenster optional mit Fensterrahmen inkl. allen FensterGadgets. CxBar besitzt außerdem ein paar ARexx Kommandos um die Commodities per ARexx zu bedienen! Wenn ein Commodity inaktiv ist, wird der Name kursiv dargestellt. Falls ihr euch wundert, wo CxBar in der Liste ist, guckt euch die Sprechblase von Exchange an;-) Tip: Wenn du eine Drei-Tasten-Maus besitzt, kannst du mit der mittleren Taste die Buttons horizontal scrollen! Wenn nicht, wähle "Option/Scrollbar?". BTW: Ich habe bemerkt, daß die Programme ModePro v4.13, MagicLayers v1.1 und SnoopDos v3.0 nicht richtig reagieren, wenn man ihre Aktivität ändert, dadurch funktioniert bei diesen Programmen das "togglen" der Aktivität nicht! Ich habe die Autoren schon angeschrieben, sie haben sich aber noch nicht gemeldet, wenn also einer von euch sie kennt, bitte teilt ihnen den Fehler mit! Seit der v1.2 habe ich den "Toggle" Befehl durch ein "Aktiv" und "Inaktiv" Befehl ersetzt, so daß dieser Fehler CxBar nicht mehr betrifft! .construction Amiga Oberon 3.20d .date 1996.09.30 .described-by Thomas Igracki .description This program controls all commodities in your system. It is an alternative for the normal Exchange and uses the MagicUserInterface by Stefan Stuntz. The difference between C='s (or AT's) Exchange and CxBar is that CxBar displays the commodities as buttons (cycles) in a horizontical or vertical (switchable!), one-line (bar) or one-row virtual group. Every button has a help-bubble which shows the title and the description of the commodity and informs you if it has a window which can be shown and hidden ("GUI: YES" or "GUI: NO"). Also you can turn on a size-gadget to size the window and a drag- gadget to change the window's position. The size-gadget appears on the right or bottom and the drag-gadget on the left or top. You can also have the window the normal/intuition windowborder incl. all bordergadgets. CxBar has also some arexx commands to control the commodities via arexx and is localizied! If a commodity is inactive the name will be shown in italic style. Hint: If you have a three-button-mouse, you can use the middle button to scroll the buttons to the left or right! BTW: I have noticed that the programs ModePro v4.13, MagicLayers v1.1 and SnoopDos v3.0 didn't reacts like they should if someone toggles their activity, so the toggle command works only once for these programs. I have eMailed the authors of these programs, but I didn't got any response, so if any of you knows one of the authors please report the bug!
