----------------------------------------------------------------------------- RDM2HTML v1.2 - 23/11/96 10:04 AM - (c)1996 PirlAGA - pirlaga@ermes.it ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- INTRO This proggy allows you to create HTML index file from Aminet style dirs. (from an idea by Yuri of EAR, for the creation of the EARCD's HTML interface) USAGE You have to cd into the dir you want to scan and run the program (it must be on path). - Just type RDM2HTML - The prog reads the .readme (or .REA/.RDM) description of each file in the current dir, and outputs an index.html file with the tabulated informations [FILENAME] ['Short:' field of the readme file] The [FILENAME] with a link to the archive, the [Short] with a link to the .readme. However, if you don't like the "index.html" name, you can specify your best filename with argument: RDM2HTML filename LF/A with LF flag you tell to the proggy to write LF+CR to the ouput file. That's all folks! NOTES The program is simple, because this is the first version, and it does exactly everything Yuri asked to me to do. If you want the proggy makes more, just ask to me and i'll code. See ya, aMiGa rUlEz !!! .oO PirlAGA Oo. PERMISSION This prog is emailware. If you use it you have to send me comments and suggestions. You also MUST leave my name somewhere in the generated page.
