11.57 a.m. The band surface from their rooms after a heavy night. Taxis organised for various local tarts.
12.00 to 4.00 p.m. A light lunch (Specified by the band).
The owner of last night's venue has invited everybody to sample a traditional Brittany meal.
The meal consists of several courses including Prawns, Tripe and various other unidentified substances and is washed down with wine, coffee and various unidentified liquids. Dancing Dave provides safe haven during the meal for anything that no-one else fancies.
4.30 p.m. More activity as the band set up for the evening's
performance (the road crew being mostly too pissed).
5.30 p.m. Soundcheck.
5.32 p.m. Back to the hotel for a quick shower. Auderves and wine for anyone who fancies it. (again Dave obliges)(see left)
7.30 to 9.26 p.m A light dinner (specified by the band).
Tonight's venue have decided to provide the party with another traditional French dish, Kus Kus, spicy sausage and lamb in a sort of vegetable casserole with wine and bread.
9.30 p.m. Time for a quick sit down.
9.32 p.m. That's better.
10.20 p.m. Lots of burping and belching as the band decide that perhaps spicy sausage was not the ideal meal 2 hours before a gig.
10.30 p.m. The band hit the stage.
11.15 p.m. The band discover that every time the local factory turns on a machine, there is a dip in power causing the sound to go all wobbly.
11.16 p.m. They decide to turn every thing up to compensate. The local factory goes all wobbly.
1.15 a.m. The band finally leave the stage after several encores and retire to the backstage area.
1.20 a.m. What seems like the entire audience come in single file thru the backstage room shaking every body's hand.
2.00 a.m. The crowd finally finish thanking the band. Just as the roadcrew finish packing the gear up.
2.20 a.m. The venue buy the party a couple of drinks.
3.30 a.m. Back to the hotel for a nightcap.
4.15 a.m. Another liquid which looks like meths but does the trick.
5.00 a.m. Bed.
