If you own Xenolink BBS you may use it freely and spread it to other users of Xenolink, as long as the archive remains in it's original state. What can you do with it ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Very simpel you can give a user a file with this program that isn't online, without using something like downloadfromdos This program works from outside xenolink so you can use it in programs like dopus, just mark the files in dopus with your mouse and click on a buton and the only thing the user has to do is do go and find a place on your bbs to download. How does it work ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Very simpel use it from the cli or use it in dopus, dirwork etc. The template is: GiveUserFile NODE/N,FILES/M,QUIET_SYSOP/S,REQ_OUTPUT/S So use it like this GiveUserFile NODE=1 POINT_CONFIG.LHA If you don't choice a node the program wil check out al your nodes if at that moment you only have one node with a useronline then that node will be choicen, if you have more than one node online than you wil get a requester to choice the right node. If you don't give any files on the commandline that you will get a file- requester to choice the files you wont to send. The QUIET_SYSOP optie will keep the output from the program to the console window to a warnings and error messages only The REQ_OUTPUT optie make sure that no output to the console window is ever done al messages wil be done to the sysop by requesters, great for in dopus. To Do ~~~~~ Make the text that is send to the user online warning him/her that the sysop gave him/her some files configurational Read a node tooltype when starting from the workbench Important ~~~~~~~~~ This program has ben tested but i am not responsible when this program does something strange to your computer, but i would know what that would be.
