When I became aware of my ridicoulus standard workbench, I tested different Icon-Packages and had to figure out that none of them pleased my taste. NEWICON is a nice idea but far too colourfull and bright. MWB was nice either, but the backpatterns of the icons and the drawers looked awfull. Anyway, I decided to use MWB because it seemed to be easier to change the icons. Most of the MWB Icons were rather nice. Only the backpatterns were anoying. So what to do best? I decided to make brushes from parts of some icons, so that I could paste the brushes on my favourite patterns. After some time I realized that it was hard (because stupidous) work. So I want to give you the chance to use them without spending weeks for makeing brushes. Have fun! @endnode @node AG-2 "What for?" The brushes have been made to use them on nicer patterns, but they are also brilliant to make new icons. You can paste them and combine them and make good looking icons in minutes. The devolpement becomes fun. @endnode @node AG-3 "How to use" I know nothing about your Icon Editor, but most of them should be able to use the brushes. Here is a `what to do list` for Iconian: -Use "matte" as brush mode -load a template-icon -load a brush -if you want the brush to be bigger, select scalebrush/dubblex sclaebrush/dubbley and paste the brush on the template @endnode @node AG-4 "Author" The brushes were mostly cutted out of different icon-packages currently available on the aminet. If you find out that some of them were painted by you, don`t be angry, just feel pleased that I liked the icon :-). If you want to see more brushes, send me a mail saying that you are using the package, beacuse I will not send the brushes into the aminet further if I get no feedback. If you have special wishes, send me some Icons or icon-packages, but wait: If you want to mail larger files, ask me wheter I already have them before doing so.
