Well,  what to say, what to say?  I have been using the Amiga for
some 5-6 years now and, like most of us, moved up through the C64
and  C128  steps.   Presently using the A3000 for mostly business
purposes  (that's what I tell my wife anyway as it beats the heck
out  of  saying  "playing on the computer"). Retired from the Air
Force  some  ten+  years  back after I spending twenty years as a
Chinese linguist.  Presently reside in San Angelo, Texas where we
custom  design  and manufacture fine jewelry.  We {wife (Chinese)
and  two  daughters}  travel  quite a bit in the business, making
trips  all  over the U.S. and occasionally to the Far East.  Plan
to  give the Hong Kong users some calls the next time I am headed
that direction.

I  am  president  of the Concho Valley Computer Users Group (P.O.
Box  2661,  San Angelo, TX  76902) and was the "suggestor" to CBM
of  last  year's program to loan out equipment to Users Groups to
put  on  shows  to promote the Amiga.  Although it was adopted by
CBM, it apparently was less than greatly effective as the program
is no longer in effect.  Malaise and apathy seem to abound in the
Amiga  community.  I therefore, spend too much time brainstorming
ways to promote the platform and motivate fellow users.  It ain't
easy!    Presently  tasked  (by  default)  with  the FidoNet (all
Amigans?)  users program of amassing sufficient funds to donate a
worthwhile  gift to Fred Fish for his work and support throughout
the  years.  Please send in whatever you feel comfortable with as
a  thanks  to  FFish for what you may have gained from his labors

Do  want  to say "hi y'all" to all fellow Amigans and pass on the
reminder  to  please  pay  for  what  you  use.   It supports the
programmers and insures newer and better wares for the Amiga. The
inability  of these individuals to live without eating is killing
Amiga  programming  -  and  the  Amiga  (it's future is up to us,
people).  Very concerned with the future of the Amiga.
