GENERAL:
InfoDesk is like a bulletin area with sub-menus.  Picking a selection may
lead to another menu or display a text file.  Sysops may have as many text
files available for users as they like.  They can be easily grouped, too.


STARTUP:
Copy the files into their own directory as described in the Metro BBS docs.
Rename INFODESK to DOOR18 or whatever name is proper for your setup.


MENU FILES:
Each starts with a '\' which is followed by the menu which it exits to.
The main menu must be named "MAIN.DAT" and the first line must be "\NONE"
The other lines contain the choice that appears on screen and the file it
calls.  The file called can be another menu or a text file.


EXAMPLES:

AMIGA-2.DAT

Here would be some info on Amiga graphics.  Just a plain text file that
could ramble on forever and ever (if ya had the disk space).  If it runs
longer than one page the program automatically pauses.  When the user
finishes, it automatically exits to the AMIGA-1 menu.

TEXTFILES:
Text files are just plain ol' files that you can create with any text
editor.  The first line cannot start with '\'.  Hopefully the included
examples will clarify how things are setup.


SAMPLE FILES:
The sample files were, for the most part, written very quickly and should
be examined carefully before use.  I was just trying to slap together
something to show how everything works.
