THE GOOD NEWS

FORMS

Finally... mosaic has Forms suport. Now you can subscribe/order things via the Web

ICONIFY

This is reportedly fixed, it no longer crashes.

BOING

The 'clock' pointer has been removed and replaced by a boing ball. Whenever you're receiving data it bounces around. This has already been the cause of much discussion in the mailing-list ;).

BUTTONS

New Buttons :) are visible above the Web-window, two of which are new. They also have eerr... 'pretty' gfx. Fortunately, you can configure their appearance using the prefs file to display as text, gfx or both.

Amosaic Home Page - From our everloving, hard-working mosaic Developers

Home - Connects to the HomePage - ie the FIRST page you saw when you ran mosaic. This could be an index.html page you have sitting on your HD :)

HOTLIST

A new snazzy hierarchial hotlist - now you don't need AMHotlist ;). Though there is a new version (2.0) on Aminet.

THE BAD NEWS

Well... there HAD to be some this is still a BETA program afterall, so no griping at the back there. Be constructive, if you find a bug, email the team.

FTP

This varies seemingly from person to person. In other words you may or may not be able to FTP via mosaic.

The fix - Get the ASR225 version (using 1.3) and use the socket lib thingy from telnet_VGOOD.
