Demon Internet

This is a shameful plug ;) For a tenner a month you can get onto the Internet NOW. Demon provide both a connection to the Net AND some software to get you going. Currently, AmigaNOS is provided. There is a beta-test version of AmiTCP available, but at the moment unsupported offically! Now that AmiTCP v4.0 is out, I don't know if Demon's package will be supported. However, don't worry! The package is fairly reliable ;) and NEEDED if you want to access the joys of mosaic.

Demon have got a deal with Energis. This means that Demon will be spreading it's 'local-call reach' over a growing area of the UK. In order to keep up with demand they are also installing more modems. They have just announced that they will have 4000 modems by the end of the year and are opening up so many new vPoPs that they will cover approx 75% of the UK.
