This file contains a random selection of comments I received about a
previous CD-ROM, and my response or resolution to those comments.  It
is not a complete log of all comments or problem reports received,
just those that seemed interesting or general enough to include, or
that I thought to save for this purpose.  Each CD-ROM will have a
completely new "Feedback" file.  I.E. the lifetime of these particular
entries is only the next CD-ROM from when they were received or acted
on.

RE: GNU "find" and AmigaDOS filename syntax

A user wrote:

I still haven't had a chance to chase down this particular bug.
It's a relatively low priority, but I will try to get to it before
the next CD-ROM.

RE: BBS support

Progress is being made towards automating this feature.  Inclusion
of Product-Info files with ".short" fields is the first step in this
process.  The next step is writing a utility that extracts the ".short"
field information and generates the Files.bbs type files.  I'm still
looking for input on the exact format that these files should take.

RE: Movie Database

I have been in contact with the authors of mdb and it appears that it
may be included on a future CD-ROM in archived form.  The authors do
not want it to be included in unarchived, ready-to-run form, on CD-ROM
because they feel someone may try to market a CD-ROM containing only
the movie database.

RE:  AmigaGuide versions of GNU info files

Done.  The GNU/guide directory contains AmigaGuide format files for all
of the GNU utilities which had texinfo documentation.

RE: Unix compatible man command

I didn't have time to get to this for this CD-ROM.  Perhaps for the
next one...

A new version of KingFisher is under development and should be available
soon.  It will use the new standard for maintaining information about
material in the library (the Product-Info files), and should be a
significant improvement over all current such programs.
