****-=> ZSTAT - EchoMail Traffic Reporter <=****


ZStat is a little and useful utility to create reports of echomail traffic
on DLG & ZMail boards. It reads the file Import.dat generated  by ZMail in
every message area and get from it all the infos required.

Usage: ZStat <-Switch> [<Config pathname>]

--> Switch are:

-P (doesn't delete import.dat and doesn't create import.bak). This is
   useful when you want a report 'on the fly'.

-D (delete import.dat and create import.bak). This is useful when you want
   to create a report on every defined date (to do this you must add an
   entry in crontab). This switch delete import.dat and restart the report
   in message area.

I have in my crontab this entry to generate a report at 03:30 am of every
1st day of month:

30 03 1 * * Fido:ZStat -D Fido:ZStat.cfg


--> Config pathname is the path to ZStat configuration file.
    (default 'FIDO:ZStat.cfg')


The ZStat configuration file consists of a line (the first) in which you
define the complete path to the report, and one line for every message
area in the following format:

<TagName>        <Path>

Example:

You are able to create as many configuration file as you want, to make a
report of your FidoNet or your AmigaNet or your ScummyNet :^) echomail
areas.

I have AmigaNet.cfg for my AmigaNet areas (what do you expect to join us?),
FidoNet.cfg for my FidoNet areas, and so on.....
