Ciao a tutti :-) SkyFreshen is a replacement for TPT's Freshen command. The Freshen command is used to rebuild the File.Dat (a file index present in all your file areas) reading all the area's xxx.fd. SkyFreshen is *TOTALLY* Freeware, I don't want a penny if you use it! SkyFreshen features : - Much faster that TPT's Freshen - Areas to be freshened can be specified on command line - Can freshen without setting comments on files (faster) - Can optionally delete non-existing entries from file areas - Handles extended filepaths SkyFreshen is very easy to use, command line options : SkyFreshen v1.00 - by Luca Spada - Feb 22 1993 Usage: SkyFreshen [DELETE] [NOCOM] [] [-] [ <...>] [- <...>] DELETE - Delete non existing file entries NOCOM - Does not set the ("FILE:xx/yy.fd") comment on files Examples: 1> SkyFreshen DELETE 200-300 34-70 -50 -51 Will freshen areas from 200 to 300 and from 34 to 70 except 50 and 51 and will delete non existing file entries 1> SkyFreshen NOCOM ALL -10 Will freshen all areas except area 10 and will not set the comment on processed files (this speed up SkyFreshen of 20-30%). If you area using SkyFreq, a nice idea would be to automatically SkyFreshen the area where you put your File Lists. When you generate a new file list, it will lost its file comment and SkyFreq will be unable to give information on that file.
