(Developed in DLG V0.999 system.) o DLG Installed as it should be. Here are some things to be noted, you don't normally need to worry about them. IF YOUR DLG is installed properly! 1) Root file directory must be FILE: (Assign) 2) MagicFile uses "FILE:Area.file" to get information about your fileareas so this file must exists and be available in CORRECT form. 3) MagicFile uses "FILE:xx/yy.fd" files for getting information about tagged files, so you need them! 4) Files can be spreaded around in several dirs but if your files are in another directories than 'FILE:xx/' then the path must be told in fileareas configuration. @endnode @node install "Installing MagicFile" And How do I install it? Easy. Just copy the executable into the dir where you keep your DLG Utilities. Unregistered MagicFile is not crippled in anyway (I HATE Crippled utilities) instead I have made few irritating *UNREGISTERED* reminders. But the future versions might include some options available just for registered users only. I have spent LOTS and LOTS of hours/nights with this utility. Also I have had so many problems with this when developing it. So I'll release this as Shareware. I decided (hopefully reasonable) to put following shareware fees: @{b}$15 for foreigners@{ub} and @{b}80mk for finns@{ub}. You may use this for an evaluation period of 30 days free.
