DESCRIPTION

     The Vector Connection I/O board is a Zorro II interface board for
     the Amiga A2000/A3000/A4000 computers, which adds four serial and
     two parallel ports to your Amiga computer.  It allows you to
     connect more peripherials to your Amiga computer, such as
     additional modems, printers or digitizers.


TECHNICAL DATA

     - serial ports

       - support  transfer  rates  up  to  57,600 bps, update for 76,800 and
         115,200  bps  will  be  available  mid  to end 1Q94.
       - Supports MIDI transfer rate (31,250 bps)
       - FIFO buffered receivers (4 Bytes)
       - RTS/CTS, XOn/XOff handshake
       - Even, Odd, none parity
       - serial.device compatible driver
       - ASDG SETCTRLLINES standard to control DTR / RTS supported
       - GUI preferences program

     - parallel ports

       - parallel.device compatible driver
       - bidirectional ports for Printers / Digitizers etc.
       - drivers for Software Distillery ParNet included (with source)
       - support for taking over parallel port hardware included

     - Commodity for Redirecting access from parallel/serial device to
       board drivers included
     - Includes for C compilers
     - DOS drivers for parallel and serial ports (SER/AUX/PAR compatible)
     

REQUIREMENTS

     - Amiga A2000, A3000 or A4000 
       (any Amiga with Zorro II compatible slots)

     - AmigaOS 1.3 or beyond. AmigaOS 2.04 recommended.
     - AmigaOS 2.04 or beyond required for all GUI tools.

     - 68020 or better CPU recommended for transfer rates above 57,600 bps.
