There is very little dialog in the series, none at all in some of the Sketches, which comprise of sight gags and "rubber face" expressions. A recuring Side-Kick in the first and third shows is a three wheel car, called "the invalid car" in this document, which Mr Bean regularly has encounters with when driving his Mini (Red Mk II in the first show, Yellow 196? in the other two.) To date, three Half-hour Shows have been made each containing three or four sketches. What follows is the titles of each of the three shows, plus a short descriptive name of each short (Names were not included for individual sketches) with a sentence or two describing the sketch in more detail. The opening, closing and interlude scenes often lead up to or follow sketchs, but some can be viewed as seperate entities, and are quite short. The Scenes marked with a '*' can be viewed as seperate sketches, while those marked with a '-' are really only links. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Show One - "Mr Bean" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Written by Richard Curtis, Rowan Atkinson and Ben Elton.
