So if you have hot news about your group: Mail them to us! f2c02 AMIGA NEWS FEED f1c03 13.05.98 The Amiga Community Liaison Group (ACLG) made up of members of Team Amiga, the Jay Miner Society, the User Group Network, and the Industry Council Open Amiga proudly announces the formation of the Amiga News Feed. The ANF is a FREE service provided to the Amiga community with a single click user interface for the posting of Amiga News! The goal of the ANF is to provide the operation of a system that can feed news to not only the Amiga and non-Amiga press, but to individual users and user groups as well. In order to achieve this, you can - after subscribing to ANF - send your news (including source, email and/or URL's) to a single email address. Spam and rumors are removed by a moderator, the posts are authenticated, and then pushed thru the news feed. There is no censorship applied. Subscribing: * 1. Type subscribe tamiga in the body of the email. f2c02 DIGITAL OUT OFF ONES f1c03 13.05.98 Darkus (ex-nemes!s) confirmed towards Generation, that he closed Digital down and joined Network and Rebels.Furthermore he became main-editor of Trashcan the diskmag from Network which lately released its fourth issue. Digital reborn in 1996 are therefore confirmed officially dead again. "I will state that the decline and eventuall death was down to Iceball (ex-Ibanez) as he resorted to lying about new members and productions." Darkus reveals. Asked about how did he find about his lies, he continues: "Well, Nigel/Ex-Impact DK informed me. I wasnt very motiviated after I found out he was filling me with lies and building up my hopes." According to Darkus Zeek, Riis, Unknown and Nigel never were members! Also he stated that Alive/Nah-Kolor was kicked out before the group died, due to no contact from him for about5 to 7 months. According to Spock he is working with Odin and Lithium on building a new demo for Gods on PC. f2c02 CHANGES IN NERVE AXIS f1c03 23.04.98 Some major changes in NVX. Four sysops (Ace (13th Hour), ZipZippy(Trick Or Treat II), Demolee (Mos Eisley), Turbo (Cyberspace)), two coders (Nik and Nexus) plus one trader (Icon) were kicked, while one further organiser joined. His name might be quite common to you: Zone. "He is physically unable to leave us." Tango/NVX comments grinning. f2c02 SYNDROME BACK ON TRACK! f1c03 17.04.98 You wouldn't believe it, but Zaac just told us that Syndrome has been rebuild with many of the old members onboard, including Tenshu! Read more about that in the sooncomming 26th issue of Generation. f2c02 SUMMERS EVENT: ABDUCTION 1998 f1c03 02.04.98 It's going to be summer soon and therefore the annual partyflood in the months may to August sets in once again and it starts with the Abduction'98 in Finland. Follow the link for first hand information! f2c02 NEWS FROM SYNDROME f1c03 31.03.98 Already said to be dead, we received a sign of weak living from the newcoming group of 1996. Officially, Zaac/Syndrome confirms that Tenshu broke up Syndrome at the Saturne party 97. Some ex-syndrome members are now in a new almost fully PC group called Elend (= misery), which consists of the following members: Gfx.........Tenshu, Nitryk (doublemember), and Zaac (doublemember) 3d..........Kobi Musique.....Traven, Embroaz Code........Fks, Francisco, Obyone Codac and Bosco. plus some others have left the Scene. The german part of Syndrome is now alone and free. Now we are at a stage of panic. Aminet is down for quite a long time. What has happened, we asked and found following answer: Due to a "human error" the complete Redundant Array of Independent Drives (RAID) at WU was destroyed. No real need to worry, there exist backup-tapes of the whole Aminet (and don't we have Aminet Set?), but restoring might cause some further days. Spread the word: Aminet was not deleted! Futureplans are to make Aminet independent from WU so that even in case of RAID troubles, alternate pointers could enable an independent startpage. f2c02 PPC-DEMO POSSIBLE FOR SYMPOSIUM'98 f1c03 19.01.98 As if the whole event wasn't attractive enough, the German party is said to feature yet another attraction: Manta/Elven 11, coder of "Smart" and PPC-specialist, received his CyberstormPPC 604e/200 + 68060/50 card in early January and announces that he is starting to work on a AmigaPPC-only demo for the event. Although he is not yet sure if he can make it, this would certainly be the first real AmigaPPC-demo so far. If it will be shown in the official Amiga-Competition or in the Wildcompo is not yet sure.
