b1a0tPolish DominationtMagic/Nah-Kolortfps2f2c11 Insights on the Polish Domination f1c13 written by Magic of Nah-kolor f4c13 "Buzka! Credits also go to all Sceners at #amisia" f1c11 Proloque c12As we all now by now Poland morphed from a slightly unknown Amiga country with bad designed demos, to a Scene country with strong impact to date! This article is obviously about the Polish Scene. Mainly about the upcomming releases we can expect from our beloved Polish neighbours. But also will I try to shine a light on the Polish Scene structure and it's national habits. I am following the development of the Polish Scene since the end of 1993, so this article is not only based on comments by various Polish Sceners but also on my own experiences. c11 What Polish releases can we expect ? c13Floppy is working on some releases and a video demo. f4 "We aim to release it at Gravity III party, since we don't really like the Intel Outside Party that much"f1 Def of Floppy comments. Also Zig of Floppy joined Endzeit as a double member, but Thorus stayed 100% loyal to his group (cp. "The Endzeit Story"). None the less Floppy won the Rush Hours party in April with a nice demo called Napalm. The famous Polish formation Anadune is working on a huge demo. With graphics by Kazik, music by Revisq and code by Mr.Acryl. "But work and girlfriend of Mr.Acryll take also alot of time" Andy of Anadune comments. Yet he hopes Anadune can finish it for Gravity III - their own party. The little known Polish group Phase Truce seems a promising newcommer to the Amiga scene. Their talented members spread their wings on the Polish Scene. "Coder Ace and his brother Graphician Kro are working on a huge demo for the Intel Outside party" Tuk of Phase Truce comments. One of the best Polish groups Venus Art, which was rumoured to be dead is actually very active on a new demo project. And a very special one indeed. BJSebo of Venus Art comments: "Our main coder Noe is in the army, but in evenings he is coding. He has a PPC board, so this will be our first PPC demo release. I did also some small codings and the entire story board for this demo, which is stored in some secret notes on my Hard Disk" Also Venus Art aims for Intel Outside Party 1998. The prominent group Nah-kolor is also working on some releases for Intel Outside 1998. "Intel Outside Party will be Ours!" Coder Klod of Nah-kolor comments in a letter to Amiflash of Nah-kolor. Also coder Ripper of Nah-kolor has some ideas for a release. Klod's demo is in production for a very long time, and is a really huge one indeed. And ofcourse Blaze of Nah-kolor will compile a nice SPEED packmag issue with the best intro's from Intel Outside and Gravity III party's. Informer of Appendix is also working on a demonstration with the help of Swedish coder Scout. Atleast that is what Carson of Appendix commented. Also they aim to release at Intel Outside party 1998. The Polish group Mawi has some huge productions in the pipeline. And with the always motivated Azzaro we have confidence in this group. Another demo which is aimed for Assembly 1998 is by - again - Venus Art. Coded by BJSebo and all graphics by Madd of Mystic this demo will feature a multichannel tune from the still active Polish legend XTD. The old Polish group Venture who released a 4th place winning demo at Symposium, is busy on a new demo for Intel Outside aswell. The even older group UNION is also preparing a PPC demo for the Intel Outside party. Last but not least alot of unknown groups with a bright future are waiting to be discovered in Poland. c11 Polish Structure.. c12The Polish Amiga Scene anno domini 1998 exists out alot of known Amiga groups, and alot of talented groups on the lookout. A normal scene year brings us atleast six party's if not more. Most known are Intel Outside, Gravity, Astronyn, Satellite, Rush Hours. In the past there were more known party's but when one left new ones replaced them. Western Europe can take an example to this. On most party's the visiters can drink what they like. It's not just a boring hall, but for example the Intel Outside party was held in a real (huge) disco a couple of times.. c11 Epiloque c13Many groups, many coders, many releases. Poland is an Amiga Scene Nation in bloom. With eager talents in the pipeline to follow in the footsteps of todays known Polish sceners. In august two of the best Polish party's will take place. Unluckely Intel Outside will be at the 24-25 of august and just 5 days later Gravity III will start. This could turn out as a problem but let's see how this will evolve. The 'western' Scene has maybe 4 or 5 demos a year which can't compete with Polish standards (Killer, Rise, My Kingdom, Captured Dreams or Pulse) But with all others Poland has his national flag on high as best Amiga scene country in the world! Prepare yourself and your hardisk to receive releases, mainly from Polish origin the next few years..
