      Welcome dear readers, We have reached our first milestone with the
     @2 CRYPT@5 Magazine ... Our@6 1st@5 Birthday Issue.

      The past 12 months have been a hard slog indeed,  and many of  the
      Team  have put in considerable time and effort to ensure that  the
      magazine has developed into the formatt you see it today.

      Yes!   Twelve  months ago "We had a Dream" (@1OK.  I  borrowed  that
      Phrase from someone else@5 ),  But  it does ring true.  When we  re-
      started  the @2 CRYPT@5  we  wanted  to   produce  something  entirely
      different  from  the  "Standard  Amiga  Style  Disk/on-line"  Type
      magazine.

      We  wanted  to produce a publication that would be a  pleasure  to
      read ... Something that, Although bringing you the latest news and
      Views ..Would also be Fun, Light-hearted and Interesting.

      So,  have we succeeded in our goals? ...Well 600+ visitors to  our
      website on the Week of release and the 60+ visitors we  get  on  a
      normal weekly basis would indicate that just perhaps we have.

      At  an  early stage in the Development of the@2 CRYPT@5,  We  realised
      that  many readers were using a PC ...  How many Amiga  users  now
      have both PC & Amiga's ..  A Great many.  So our html version  was
      born  ...   Allowing  a  great  many  more  people  to  enjoy  our
      Publication.

      I  would like to thank all those who have contributed to the@2 CRYPT
@5      and  those  that have contacted us with views and suggestions  for
      the future ... Your input is gratefully received.

      This  Birthday  Issue  sees  two  new Staff  Writers joining @4RIYAN
      Productions@5. Liz Green and Baz Cann, The inclusion of Baz & Liz as
      writers will give the@2 CRYPT@5 a fresh feel and they have already put
      forward some interesting Suggestions for future issues.

      While  its nice to look back over your shoulder and "Bask in  Past
      Glories" ..  The important thing is to continue looking forward to
      OUR Future.  Even as you read this,  The team will be working full
      out to bring you our@2 CRYPTMAS Special@1 :)

      On  a rather sad note,  is the announcement of the closure of "The
      Ripper"  Amiga  Magazine.  Myself and several members of the @2CRYPT
@5      team  were  of  course  involved   in  the  RIPPER  prior  to  the
      introduction of the@2 CRYPT@5.

      The Ripper had not produced an Issue for over a year,  Proof if it
      was needed that to survive in the On-line Magazine scene, you have
      to adapt to the tastes of your readers.

      We at the@2 CRYPT@5 do have a bright future, Because we listen to what
      YOU say ... We give YOU what you want to read.

      The  first year is now firmly behind us ...But the Year ahead will
      prove to be just as exciting and rewarding for us all.
