The unit in question is number of keys ("possible solutions") per second, which on basis of speed usually is given in Kkeys / s, but which also may reach up to Mkeys / s. It can, for example, be noted that a pretty plain PII 350 running W98 scores 960 Kkeys/s, whereas a 200MHz 603 Mac 8.0 cracks some 250 Kketys/s. All blocks were of course devoted to the Team Amiga. The smallest "work unit" consists of 2**28 keys, which takes a little less than 10 hours to complete on the Blizzard 1200. The outdata file is very small (<200 bytes) and can easily be mailed or sent in by other means. There really is no excuse for not joining the search. ˙ ˙01
