Please note that the text within this file should not really be used to destroy other peoples work. ]5Well, only people you don't like!]1 This file is mainly for people who have access to Novell Networks and maybe access to the server. I have had many hours of fun over the last few weeks, since I started a GNVQ in Information Technology, hacking into the network. I have successfully managed to get myself several fake E-Mail addresses. These can then be used to send long E-Mail's to people you don't like. Such as sending a few copies of the bible to Bill Gates, or something along these lines. This was not done in a few hours of work! It actually took several days for me to install several password chatchers (as network loadable modules if you wanted to know) to help me in my hacking quest. This was also not done alone. I and a mate, who's handle is _RANDOM, had a very nice stroke of luck when a powercut to the whole college happened very late in the day. There was not a lot of people around at this time of the day! (A powercut to the main server of a network, maybe just enough to cause a hard drive failure, should this occur, then the supervisor's password becomes the default (the password sent with the package)). So if you know the password you can access the server and then change a few things around. A server is supposed to stay on-line all day and night, and the ones in our college do. They are now protected with uninterruptable power supplies. This saved us a lot of bother of loading the other shit, such as Phantom and Burglar, although this would get the same results. Once the server is then set up again, the real supervisor will change the password back to his original set one. This is why you should create a number of backdoors. You should then be able to access it from a remote PC as if we were the supervisor, using the backdoor to get in. So, okay you are now all thinking all this hacking shit is really good, but what can supervisor status give me. Well, on the system that we have in the college, we were able the create a few hidden directories and install a few games. Namely Doom II! So what! Playing Doom II is nothing special. The way we were playing it made it a little better though! Seeing as the game was actually put on to a network drive, we were able to play Doom II on every computer connected to the network. This was great fun when playing Doom II with five other people in the college ...all in different rooms! We were also able to access the Internet software, that was stored on a completely seperated network hard drive and hidden from the main system. With this we could spend a lot of time surfing the net, running up the college phone bill, instead of our own! We also had access to Aninet! @2 :-) :-) :-) :-)@1 It was not my intention to tell you how to hack into Novell Networks, just the benefits of doing so.
