We now use a menu created with our powerful product Powermenu which can be used to make professional menu's. With the included compiler you can even pro- duce PD menu's and spread them. In this issue you will notice more changes. More information has been compressed into 1 file to make the menu's clear and easy to use. We we still offer interesting information, especially information that you will not find in many other magazines. A good example is the soft- ware release list and information about CD's of AMIGA composers. On the second disk you will find music only (mostly exclusive compe- tition material). Artwork and other material will be released on Newsflash Special disk to please fans. On this disk you will find a lot of handy utilities. Many still run- ning on Kickstart V1.3 as well. Please keep in mind that the number of them is decreasing rapidly and that we will slowly move to a 100% Kick V2.0 version when it comes to utilities. The market is going this way and we will follow. With the new A1200 the AMIGA market is getting a new boost with many new demos and utilities. I probably will sell my AMIGA 500 + SCSI II HD very soon and buy a complete A1200. Last weekend I had some friends over with 2 AMIGA 1200's and I was really impressed. The old AMIGA fire that was still burning inside me light up and give me new motivation to stay active on AMIGA as well. I now own an A1000 (6.5 years old!), A2000, A500 and a PC 386DX 40 MHZ and am running out of space. Sometimes my office is full of disks, datatapes and press-information. But when I am in the magazine month (2 magazine in a month - AMIGA & PC) I will leave things as they are and clean up after all the hard work. The next month is always reserved for software activities and pro- motion / sales activities. Visiting shows, meeting people and calling / faxing all over this globe. Then the end of the month is there and the whole magazine circus starts all over. In all these years I have been in contact with at least 250 people who did work for us or contributed material for Newsflash. With the PC magazine now running for a year the PC version is slowly getting more and more popular. Many AMIGA users now also own an PC and I like to recommend you the PC version as well.
