So I hasten as fast as possible to turn my Amiga ON and to harden my blisters on the middle fingers!... It's always very difficult to talk about yourself. But let's go! NAME : Frédéric BELLEC AGE : 26 FAMILY WAY: always single. I chose to wait for several years and to build a good union rather than to be married too young. I think 30 years is the perfect age. MORE INFOS: I've studied electrotrechnic in Grammar-school but I prefer electronic and informatic. When I was young, I used to build gadgets, and music was already my hobby so I built a synthesizer (Really, I liked music played with synthesizers when I first heard the name of J.M.JARRE - he had just released his second album -). Since then, I've never stopped composing songs and musics (for marriages for example). Day after day I upgraded my sound-generator with personnal diagrams (parti- culary to command sounds with only handsmoves...). But electronics are too expensive if you buy components, and I revealed the computer in 1983 with the good old ZX-81! With this machine I found out that the Z80 processor was quite hard to code. Years after years, I was coding on ORIC-1, several THOMSON computers (stu- pid machines), and I made the most with an AMSTRAD CPC 6128, with which I had the chance to make a commercial musical program (I don't know why, I ALWAYS link music and computers, even on the ZX81 on which I've made a routine to play little songs. If you know ZX, you know it had no sound- processor!!! It gave you a buzz!). Then I made a "fanzine" in three parts, KEEP COOL, and now, since a very little time I've got an Amiga 500 upgraded to 2 MB. Amiga is almost perfect for gfx, music, but I'm very fussy, so I need a help: WHO CAN SAY ME HOW TO HAVE 1 MEGA CHIP-RAM INSTEAD OF 512K? I know someone who has built diagram shown on the last issue of Amiga Format. The result: his AMIGA IS OUT OF ORDER! I don't want to do the same experiment! On the spur of the moment, I like to draw. My dream is to work on 3D images with ray-tracing and radiosity, but I would like to have Imagine for a pretty good result (even radiosity is not yet implemented). My personnality: VERY VERY VERY nice. In fact, my friends like to go at home because I'm a little comic-man. I'm hospitable, generous, serious, finicky, analytic.Then, my shortcomings: fussy, sometimes stubborn and im- patient. I like: laughing, OK Corral!, skiing, pan-cakes, computers, good music, fiction, movie, Aliens (the story, not the bugs), Abyss (the bugs, not the story), technic range (except the cars!!!), the children, animals (except spiders...), swimming-pool, the ocean with big waves, shining sun and hot sand, cold countries like Sweden or Norway because of the paysage. I hate: hypocrisy, stupidity, someone who hurts somebody's feelings, hairs on the soap, defrozing fridge (what a calamity!). My dream: working as a wage-earner-musician in a company that makes programs. Another dream: to meet Spielberg or Cameron. The third and last dream: please don't laugh when you read this one; and an option to speak fluently english, now I have to use the dictionnary every time !
