Hello again,

Another issue of your favourite diskmagazine Newsflash. First I want to
send to everyone out there the best wishes for 1991 and a healthy year.

This issue was delayed because of the Christmas and New Year days and
some distribution problems in Holland with US Action. From 1 januar we
will stop our cooperation with this company and do distribution our-
selves to avoid further delays in releasing Newsflash.

Martyn has started a new round of bringing Newsflash in the publicity
in the UK to get more legal readers and material from the UK. If every-
thing works out good we will start offering more prices for contribu-
tors. For financial reasons (mass-piracy) we couldn't do this earlier.
I hope that many illegal readers in Europe will subscribe in 1991 to
our magazine so we can do more things to improve it even more.

Many freaks like to compare us with the 'scene' magazines but if you have
a close look you will see the big difference. Most of these magazines
are based on a sort of slideshow idea, going through pages of texts. In
Newsflash everything is more guided and we cover more areas like music,
reviews, utilities, sources, amoslistings, art, demos, games etc etc.
Ofcourse text is important as well but we want to use the advantage of
a diskmagazine to show other things made on the AMIGA.

For UGA Software, 1991 will be a year of a lot of new activities:

- Powermusic , commercial music albums (2 disks) with music of the best
               music composers like Sebastian Lentfert, Jesper Kyd etc 

- Powerart   , commercial handpainted Iff fonts for use with e.g. Dpaint
               we have had several examples of such fonts on Newsflash

- Educational software, one of the best geographic games coming up this
               year which will amaze the AMIGA Public. We start with
               a German and a Dutch version but more different maps will
               follow. Release : Feb/Mar 1991

- Lessons,     you want to learn using assembler to make own demos and
               programs then you have to check out these lessons made
               by first class programmers like people of 'The Jungle
               Command / Critical' who will offer you the best info.

- More Powerutilities and ofcourse updates of Powerpacker V3.0A....
