TITLE       SUBLOGIC JET DEMO

This is a demo version of Sublogic's JET. Sublogic made a name for themselves with the highly succesful and popular Flight Simulator II - one of the best 16 bit programs released (as yet) although Interceptor recently claimed the prize as best Amiga Flight program. Wether this is up to the standard of Interceptor I leave up to you, certainly it is not quite as 'glossy' or fast come to that - but it will probably offer more of a simulation than Interceptor plus it is compatible with all the Flight Sim 2 data discs so you could try your hand at landing a jet at Birmingham International!

TITLE       CLI DISK III

This is it basically. THIS DISK WAS MADE FOR YOU. Possibly THE most useful disc ever to come from us.... Take MY word for it - no PORKY-PIES ! This disc works via Cli OR workbench - and the environment through CLI is via the
function keys! EASY to use! What more can I say but this...

Includes....

CLI WIZARD - Master the CLI by using this program to do all the hard work of transfering files/moving/copying/renaming etc plus easy access to other utilities. VERY GOOD.

UTILMASTER - similar to above including option to ARC and de-ARC files (compressed '.arc' files). VERY GOOD

Plus countless other things including your favourites, Crunch, Tristar Virus Killer, System Z Killer, Texed demo etc. 

THIS DISC IS VERY HIGHLY RECCOMENDED! (Even if I say so!)

TITLE       E.Arts product Demos: FUSION/BATTLECHESS

Here are two demos of E.Arts product (Fusion just released the other day!) - Battlechess demo is SUPERB but ... wait for it.... WILL ONLY WORK IN 1MEG!! So sorry 512K users.
Just heard from the EA rep that the release version of Battlechess WILL work fine on 512K machines so at least everyone will be able to play it when released.
The Fusion demo is playable but wont let you out of level one, and doesnt contain a lot of the features that are in the release version. The Battlechess demo shows the graphic routines used in the game and the fights that go on whenever a piece gets taken...VERY slick animation!

TITLE       THE KING animation

This is an absolutely BRILLIANT animation of a knight swinging his sword about! (Black & white digitised that is) but again you will need 1MEG to see it. (It does work in 1/2 meg but its not worth it for what you actually see).
One of the best Amiga demos going at the moment includes some Art of noise music.

TITLE       MORIA

Here we go again, 1MEG only! Sorry 512K users that a few of the disks this time are 1meg only! There are not too many and this IS the last so RELAX and settle down!

Moria is an excellent role-playing game similar in play to HACK but much bigger! It will only run in 1meg and has small icon graphics. Its very nicely presented and I really like it, I liked HACK but this is better!

Good news 512K users - if you want a decent role-playing type game try HACK (disk 24) or LARN (disk 175) they are both very good and incredibly playable despite the simplistic graphics and lack of sound.

TITLE       MILLER LITE TV AD!

This demo created by myself (with a little help from Prosound, Digiview and a few utilities I had lying around)
recreates the hugely successful MILLER LITE TV AD, you know the recent one with the Hollies 'He aint heavy he's my Brother' song thats topping the charts. I did the demo ages ago (actually I started it as soon as I saw the ad, I had videod Auf Wiedersehen Pet and the ad was between the first and second parts so I had it on video!) and here is the result. The sample is quite good especially considering its at only a low sample rate and actually serves as a reasonable demo for Pro Sound Designer by Eidersoft. People seem to like it - especially as its a really good piece of music. WORKS ON 1/2 MEG machines fine! (Although you'll have to disconnect any external drives)

TITLE       UTILITY/APPLICATION DISK 5

This disc includes 3 fine demos, including DIRMASTER - an update to the version that was on our first update. This program lets you VERY easily catalogue your discs and files on them - includes some sample databases that include full lists of our Sonix music/instruments, pictures etc etc where to find them and exactly what we've got!

BANKN - An extremely useful program for storing information about your bank accounts, for handling cheques etc. Dave, our latest recruit used to work in a bank and reckons its VERY good - so there!

TURBO-BACKUP - No prizes for guessing what this does but IT does require TWO drives. It wont copy commercial software that is protected but will speedily copy standard stuff (including verification!).

Another very useful disk!

TITLE       IFF SAMPLES DISC 4

Heres another IFF samples disc for use with programs that use sampled sound. Includes a copy of Perfect sound so you can mess about and hear the sounds on the disk which consist of animals etc which I digitised myself including a couple of hilarious dogs, geese, sheep, cows and a brilliant parrot that has me in stitches... also included for good measure is a band-saw that is particularly good and some atmospheric bird chirping - you know the kind of stuff! Good fun! (We were going to put the parrot on the target this month but no space prevented that!)

TITLE       THE 'GATOR' MIX

Here we have a digitised sound 'mix' of loads of different records. This one is very good with excellent quality samples. Quite lengthy and amusing! 
A few members grunted last month about short descriptions which I suppose was fair comment but it is hard to say alot about demo without ruining the 'suprise' element!

TITLE       NOW THATS... VOL 5

Here comes some more of the HUGELY successful and popular Amiga Disks that feature superb Amiga (what else?) music.
Obviously I find it a bit difficult to describe a song let alone 14 of them - and no Im not saying it goes dum-de-dum-do in the middle for a while, so you'll just have to hear them for yourself but they are VERY good!
All presented nicely (and easily) as ever.
