-------- 3]PRINTALL -------- PRINTALL is a utility program that will print to paper the articles in this issue of JUMPDISK. You may have trouble making it work with a 256K system or if you booted with Kickstart 1.1 and Workbench 1.1. If 256K is your memory constraint, try it anyway. If it doesn't work, the WOrkbench screen will reappear. In such case, look toward the end of this article to learn how you can print articles using CLI commands. Started and left alone, this program will print every article in this issue. And if you get PRINTALL started and change your mind, press the CTRL and C keys to break from the program back to the Program Menu. This action will also stop the printer. You may get strange spacing if you have set printer margins other than at 0 and 80 within Preferences. There are actually three ways of sending JUMPDISK text files to the printer in this issue alone: PRINTALL is one. A second is activated by selecting an Article Menu item to read, then clicking on the PRINT ARTICLE box on the right of the screen. A third: Enter the CLI and there type: TYPE > PRT: J:TEXT/FILENAME (and press Return) Ahead is a list of all articles in this issue, followed by their file names. To get a hard copy of this article to use as reference, go to the CLI and type TYPE > PRT: J:TEXT/PALLTEX (and press Return) On two-drive systems, Workbench should be in one drive, JUMPDISK in the other. On a one-drive system, put Workbench in the drive, type TYPE > PRT: J:TEXT/PALLTEX (and press Return) and then put JUMPDISK in the drive in answer to the screen prompt for it. Last, this disk contains a batch file which will print all articles in the list ahead to paper. To run it, from the CLI type: execute j:cliprint (and press Return) CLIPRINT also prints the formatting codes which are used for screen color changes, so be prepared to see a series of 3] and 4] at left of some lines. In addition, on single-drive systems, the numerous disk swaps may be tedious.
