   Version 1.3 has a run-time library option and 10% smaller programs. The
  run-time licence fee is included in the price of the compiler. Programs
  run up to 18 times faster than ARexx uncompiled programs, and are called

Bugs

    OVD0 or RRamDisk don't work with AdRAM.  They appear to mount
   correctly the first time, but after a warm boot they either lock-up the
   machine on being re-mounted, or return a "Read/Write error" on
   attempting to access the device.  Judging by the text accompanying the
   VD0 special A3000 version, this problem is most likely due to expansion
   memory located at $C00000 (which is one of the locations used by the
   AdRAM board).

    OArtExpression, even v1.03, STILL hasn't had the Preferences printing
   problem fixed.  At least not with my A3000 and Canon BJ printer.  The
   only workaround is to save the drawing and print with another
   application such as PageStream.

    OSysInfo 3.18 has a printed-report problem.  All the figures are
   there, but the formatting is rather messed up, with the numbers column
   displaced further down the sheet.

    OThere is a conflict between AutoCLI 2.41 and CrossDOS as supplied
   with Workbench 2.1 (probably v 5.x).  In particular, if the
   mouse-freeze functions of AutoCLI are active and CrossDOS is started,
   the mouse cursor cycles between frozen and unfrozen states with right
   mouse button presses, and mouse left button operation is interrupted
   altogether.

    OMegaView 1.0 may conflict with DirectoryOpus 4.03 under certain
   circumstances.  On my AdRAM expanded, floppy-only A500 using
   PowerPacked DirectoryOpus (even in an iconised state), trying to use
   MegaView crashes the machine.  The easiest workaround is to shut down
   DOpus if intending to use MegaView (sometimes disguised as FullView eg
   on MegaDisc).


Hint

   To avoid the 'black page' problem of PageStream [0moperating
  under Kickstart 1.3, open it using 'Custom screen' [0m(with
  appropriate colours, of course).

   A1200 Incompatibilities




   CGFonts and Final Copy II

   For CG fonts you need WB2.1, and for Type 1 fonts you need WB1.3 or later.

   To load up a Type 1 Postscript font into Final Copy (ie, has a .pfb
  and .afm extension) just click on it. FC will automatically download the
  font to a postscript printer for example.
