HOW TO CONTRIBUTE TO MEGADISC
		 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    One of the most gratifying aspects of editing Megadisc is getting
    the mail - in the run-up to No. 7 the quality of contributions has
    been very impressive, even by people who've never written a piece for
    publication in their lives. This does everyone good (not just me!) -
    everyone wins, contributors and users. It's very likely that you know
    things that many others don't, and they'd like to hear about it, if you
    manage to get it to Megadisc.
    
    SUGGESTIONS ABOUT WHAT WE'D LIKE TO GET
    If you get inspired and send us in a contribution which we use on
    a future Megadisc, whether it be a review, article, program, series
    of tips, graphics, animation or whatever, you'll be entitled to
    any 5 Public Domain disks mentioned in "PDLibrary"(Disks included of
    course - some people were confused about that), as well as
    a free copy of the Megadisc issue that your piece ends up in. So
    when you do, include a note saying which disks you'd like to have.
    Of particular interest are reviews of hardware and software, articles
    on anything of interest to users, and utilities/programs. Also most
    welcome would be in-depth reviews of the A500 and A2000, especially
    anything of a practical nature; information about printers and printer
    drivers (send in any drivers you have too); any bugs you've found in
    programs you use; how you've set up your system, and what you're doing
    with it,  etc. General "think" pieces are most welcome too - ie,
    general articles of interest to Amiga users. 
   
    Any current subscribers who send a contribution will have their
    subscription extended by one issue, as well as getting the
    usual 5 pd disks.

    It would also be much appreciated if you'd put your contribution
    on disk in the case of text as well, since it saves a lot of
    key-fingering. Even better, make it a straight ASCII file if you
    can - ie, use a text editor (like ED in the CLI) or save from your
    Word Processor as ASCII (if you can). And keep the width of the text to
    a maximum of 74, which is a good width for onscreen viewing. Documents
    from Notepad or a word processor are fine if you're not sure about
    ASCII, since they can easily be stripped of odd characters.

    Likewise, anyone who sends in a letter or hint or anything else (like
    printer drivers) on disk should mention which 2 Public Domain disks
    they'd like to get back.

    Another way of getting information to Megadisc is to leave messages
    and articles, graphics, etc on CLUB AMIGA BBS (sysops: Ross Kellaway
    & Ken White; Tel: (02) 5216338). All you need is a modem and a
    Communications program (get one of our public domain progs) - try it,
    you'll like it! Don't worry if you don't hear from Megadisc for a while
    after you contribute something - we'll get back to you eventually,
    though you can always ring up and enquire about anything, anytime.

    So get inspired, and be digitally published! It could be the start
    of a scintillating career in the digital press. In fact, most of the
    writing on Megadisc is of a pretty high standard, especially 
    considering the fact that few contributors are professional writers
    (don't worry about grammar and punctuation - what's an editor for, 
    anyway?) And don't forget, what you think is obvious may be mystifying 
    to someone else - they may need to know what you know.
