Install  icon  on  this  disk.  All directions will be given by the Install
program.

This  disk  contains  several useful ARexx programs.  These can be found in
the Rexx directory on this disk.  Of particular use is the F0.ADPro program
which allows you to execute an ARexx program by name from within ADPro.  To
make use of these programs, place them in your Rexx:  directory.

    The  req.library  is  a run time re-entrant library that is designed to
make  it easier for programmers to use powerful, easy to use requesters for
communicating with users.  The requester library includes such functions as
a  color  requester,  file  requester,  message  display requester and many
functions  to  make  the creation of gadgets for your own custom requesters
easier.

    Req.library  was  written  by  Colin Fox (of Pyramyd Designs) and Bruce
Dawson  (of  CygnusSoft  Software).   Req.library is a freely distributable
library  that  may  be  used  in  commercial  products  without  paying any
royalties.   We  encourage  you to use the requester library in all of your

              Special Note On The Mimetics FrameBuffer Saver
        If You Do NOT Have A Mimetics FrameBuffer Then IGNORE THIS

Our  saver  for  the  Mimetics  FrameBuffer  is 95 percent code supplied by
Mimetics.   It  requires a substantial amount of memory to be free in order
to  convert  RGB  data  into  the  internal  form  used on the FrameBuffer.
Therefore,  you  should  read  the manual section on MAXMEM so as to ensure
enough free ram available if you wish to use the FrameBuffer saver.

Mimetics  has informed as that they will be supplying a new library for our
use  in  the  very near future.  This library will decrease the size of the
saver  itself, decrease the amount of memory required by the saver, operate
faster, and cure a bug which can potentially lose 220,000 bytes of memory.

The  memory  loss  bug  is only found if you try to save to the FrameBuffer
when there *isn't* enough total memory available to fully save the image to
the  buffer.   If you save an image to the buffer, and get an out of memory
message, then you will also have lost the use of 220,000 bytes of memory. 

If  you  save  an image to the buffer and do see the results on the buffer,
then the saver will have exited cleanly and all memory returned.

When  the  new  library  is  supplied  to  us  by  Mimetics  and  correctly
integrated,  we  will  place  it  on  the ADPro master disk.  If you have a
FrameBuffer,  check  back  with  us  from time to time to inquire as to the
status of this saver.
