MegageM is pleased to announce the release of the latest versions of LuCypher.
LuCypher I and II are the premier cryptographic packages for Amiga file
encryption.

    LuCypher is the state-of-the-art cryptography package for the Amiga.
    It consists of two parts, Level 1 and Level 2, which can be used 
    separately or in conjunction with one another for enhanced security 
    and convenient key exchange.  Written entirely in assembly language
    by Daniel Wolf, this matched set provides a combination of speed and
    sophistication unequalled by any other data security package.  

    LuCypher I

    LuCypher I consists of a high speed, character based file ciphering
    package.  The Level 1 cipher simulates a 8-element rotor system.
    It rapidly and securely encrypts or decrypts any Amiga file (on floppy 
    disk, hard disk, or ram disk) using a 16 character key.  LuCypher I is 
    provided with a convenient WorkBench user interface.  It may be 
    purchased and used independently of LuCypher II.

    LuCypher II

    LuCypher II is a complete RSA PUBLIC KEY cryptosystem.  The RSA method
    is widely considered by international experts to represent the most
    advanced means of data security currently available.  Employing Knuth's
    variation of the RSA method, LuCypher II uses public and private keys
    with up to 300 digits.  Two programs are supplied: RSAky generates sets
    of keys (public/private key pairs) and RSAed for encrypting and
    decrypting files.  The RSA public key method also provides a means of
    authentication of message origin.  LuCypher II provides Amiga users 
    with state-of-the-art sophistication in cryptosystems.  An ideal use for 
    LuCypher II is as a means to distribute keys for use with LuCypher I.  
    LuCypher II includes the Lucypher I package (a savings of $49.95) and
    LuCypher I users may upgrade to LuCypher II for $150.00.

    LuCypher II has been updated with special algorithms which sense and use
    a 68020 processor to achieve a speed improvement of 20%.
