37 THE DUTCH SCENE! 14Altough I am not in the scene for a long time, I know pretty much about the scene and especially the Dutch scene!! Like MR.KEEL/DEVILS I would like to give you a review of the Groups in the Dutch scene! Of course I don't know all the groups, and will only mension the best ones.... Don't blame me if I missed some cool groups but I am just typing this article to please my friend EL LOCO/PARAGON and to tell the rest of the scene Holland has some very cool groups ... A lot of good stuff comes from Holland and too many people don't kow the facts about the best groups.. Here I start (NOTE: this review is INCOMPLETE)!! 2-AXIS:1 kicked a lot of memebers lately, lost their best coder: MAGICIAN LORD! But still have two quality members: CRACKERJACK and FRESH (He was called ROXIS in the past) Produced some very nice things especially the trackmo "UNKNOWN TERRITORY" is pure class!! They spend 5 months to make that masterpiece.. Unfortunately AXIS died!! CRACKERJACK 'n FRESH were said to have joined ANARCHY but nothing is less true... The rest of the crew joined DESIRE... 2-R.A.F:1 they have abnormal many members in countries all over the world, produced some nice things and organized a great party last year. Seem to be a bit slow, but when they produce something it is good. One coder is still busy with a music pack with music of our EPIC but as the rest 24of their productions: it takes time. 2-VISION:1 produced a lot of cool intro's, They have two very good coders called SLASH and TSM, TSM has a brother called HEIN DESIGN and when those two guys make something together it will absolutely be pure class.. HEIN does music and gfx.. and in both things he is the best of the DUTCH scene. (my opinion) Lost one of their best members FACET to ANARCHY. 2-DESIRE:1 A very nice group, they produce some very cool packs.. they seem to be in a bit of trouble, they have to much gfx-artists and musicians and to less coders.. there are RUMOURS some artists left DESIRE... 2-JETSET:1 Unfortunately this more than cool group died too soon. They produced some nice intro's and a musicdisk called "HAIL THE ENGINEER"! Very amusing scrolltext by FACET who was at the time a member of VISION. There were some HUGE plans to start a gigantic project with AXIS... the TERING LABEL! JETSET was born out of PUSSY. 2-CATASTROPHY:1 I don't know anything of this group, never seen a project of them.. Seem to be QUALITY swappers?? 2-THE CUBE:1 A friend of mine called ROH was in this group, they made some very nice compilations, unfortunately they had no coders so all their packs were CLI. ROH joined my group under the name the CUBE... 24-FALON:1 I used to belong to this group, they never produced any own coded productions... Only one intro by MAGICIAN LORD.. There were rumours some idiot spread DEMO MAKER made demo's under this groups name.. The members at that time didn't know anything about this... The mebers became together with a DANISH group called EURIX: OZONE... 2-OZONE:1 died in one day !! (both divisions) ALL members joined the BRITISH crew: the LUNATICS! The Dutch devision is busy with more than one production.. You will hear a lot of them in the near future!!!! 2-OBITUARY:1 I never saw one single release of this group... JAY ONE/LUNATICS made some gfx for their MEGADEMO which will be never released under this name they joined an old 64 crew called: SILICON ltd... the GFX of JAY ONE/LUNATICS were released in the first intro of The LUNATICS holland... 2-LEGEND:1 A very nice crack-group... they have several good cracks on their name.. never saw something else of them... 2-MIRAGE:1 I don't know anything about this group, I only know they organized a great party in HENGELO this year (together with VISION??) and the AXIS UNKNOWN TERRITORY trackmo won the first prize there.... 6I am very sorry I forgot a lot of groups!! But in my opinion these are 61the best ones, coz I don't know any others and when I don't know them they are not very famous (cause I would know them when they were famous...) And when they are not famous I think they are not good enough to be mentioned here ..
