53 Swedes are a funny tribe! 2 ------------------------- 14Our neighbours in the east are some strange fellows. We in Norway have laughed in the face of them for generations. Well, what I'm going to write in this article is some major fuck-ups our swedish friends has commited. 2-1 First of all, Datormagazine is a swedish computer-magazine. It has been running for some years now, but it was first in November 1990 they for the first time started an article about demos. It is called Demo-World. At least, I thought, and found the Demo-World corner with great eager. I should have known that it wasn't the best thing ever, but no offence, trying may lead to success. They (Datormagazine) was very sure that the best demos came from England, and that England was the country where most professional groups were situated. Then they showed a picture of Phenomena's Enigma. And guess what the text besides said? "Take a close look at these pictures. This is demo programming of high quality from England. What if our swedish demogroups were able to be that good? Ha Ha, Phenomena is as most of us who haven't been sleeping for the latest year Swedens best demogroup. It hasn't got one single UK member, and they only allow Swedes. A real fuck-up if somebody ask us in Paragon. 42-1 Another funny and true story is about the Norwegian who sold about approx. 25000 watches to the Swedes. Fair enough you may think, but you should now that none of the watches were working. The hands were painted on the clock. I was about laugh to death when I saw this in the Norwegian TV news. Even the programme manager was smiling because of this. And the Swedes went very angry, while we, sat in our chairs laughing! 2-1 The Swedes wanted to take revenge at their succesful neighbours in the west. So when they made a TV programme for children just before christmas, one of the actors were supposed to be a moron. They solved this problem by giving the man a cap saying NORWEGIAN. And the man started acting like a moron, jumping up and down screaming, and of'course wearing this little cap saying 'Norwegian'! The Norwegian government did not like this too much, and they claimed to the Swedish government that this was not the way to arrange a TV programme based for children. The Swedes appologized, but I think we (the Norwegian government) overreacted a bit. But this proves that the only way the Swedes are able to make a revenge, is to do it through the children (and they didn't even success.) Funny anyway, they gave it atleast a try. 2-1 'Ja e inte sjuk, ja e bara svensk' was a hit last summer here in 14 Norway. It means something like this: "I'm not ill, I'm just Swedish." It was actually a record that concerned our dear Swedes. (as probably everybody except our Swedish readers have understood.) This is only rumours, but I've heard that the one who sang vocals was a Swede. Geee, he must really hate is own country! (No wonder.ed.) Well, I'll try to tell you a bit about the video that was made in connection with the tune. The tune itself was very much alike a tune from Vikingarna, a group who's of'course from Sweden. Vikingarna is NOT popular between youngsters, but they are admired by people who have passed the 40th's (Need I say more???) In the video we were able to see how Swedes behave. Check it out yourself! It is worth it. 2I expect a soft revenge from my Swedish contacts, and from the Swedes in general, so come on! Answer me! But, based on experience, I don't except an answer before we've reached Free'n'Easy#10, because the Swedes need some time before they're able to give a proper answer. 53Ciao mates, signed6 EL LOCO/PARAGON.
