\\~C03Do you remember our last issue\? We reviewed RAW 5 and were a bit disappointed by its quality. But Spaceballs released the sixth issue for the end of 1993, and we have to admit that they made us a nice christmas present.

\\~C02The first surprise comes from the fact that there's no intro. Refering to the CLI text you can read while loading the mag, you can understand that Kefrens hadn't held their engagement. Instead, you have the opportunity to watch three nice pics. As always you enter the mag with another Faifax's well drawn picture. As ever you are facing their design which inspired a lot of mags, and still pleases your eye. Now enter the article section and discover a funny, and acid article, based upon normal mags. They resumed a whole 'normal' mag in a few pages, and it's just worth a read. 

\\~C01As Raw is one of the most supported mag, therefore their scene stuff, is quite good and always worth reading. This part of the mag, is filled with infos about the top groups (melon, Lemon. , Andromeda...), and this is in fact,what we readers want\!

\\~C02The demo review section finds its place too, and reviews are not so unfair, but this review section has one original point in this issue\: the RAW staff decided to review in detail the following groups\: Sanity, Kefrens, Lemon., Melon, Andromeda. You'll find some details about the coders, graphicians, musicians, of these crews, but you'll also be able to read the staff's opinion about the organizing, and the friendship, that rules in the scene's top five.


~P11>\\~C01The party zone was mostly based upon the party 3 (of course it now has no more interest), and it was the most detailed I ever read in a diskmag, you even could find some informations about Herning and its activities. This was a real investigation work, if only more party zones could be of such a quality in the other mags, you wouldn't have the strange impression that the editor staff tries to fill some disk space. 

\\~C02Let's head to some other parts of the mag. The interviewes are as usual awaiting you, and a rather well written software and hardware zone, will give you appropriate informations.

\\~C01The feedback part, is the one I really enjoyed, as this is the place, where some editors spit their venom, and give their (sometimes hard) feelings about the scene. Enough ass kissing, read some rude words. After reading nasty words, you'll certainly seek for some fun, and therefore Macno (Abnormalia's main editor) has written a few articles in the pure Abnormalia's style, and this is just the cherry on the cake. This Abno-zone as its named will smoothly lead you to the end rubrics. The mag staff, has decided to make RAW an 'only scene related to' mag. After the fifth issue, we could ask ourselves if they did a good choice. Now we can confirm, that they did. The majority of the mag is worth spending some of your precious time. Their main subject turns around the famous groups, perhaps will some people find it unfair, as the scene is not only made of five groups, but everyone wants to know things about the wellknown persons (this is how it goes in real life too). Just a little remark for the mag staff, RAW is not the first mag handling multitask, 'The Jungle' by Damian did it before. Anyway this will just improve the quality of this leading.


~C03It has been a long time since I really didn't enjoy Raw this much. Nothing else to add, if you haven't read it now, get hold of it.
