It is November the 15th 1999. I am using WinUAE om my PC. The things on this disk were made around 1990, by myself. It is.... DisasterWare Disk1 These are things I never released (for good reason), yet now they seem strangely good (to me, anyway). I am a bit annoyed I couldn't find the hilarious "Archie the Pelican" game which would have been the best thing by far on this disk, I found the source (look on the disk!) but not the graphics it needs :( Amaze (original 1990 build) Tedious maze game, scrolls really smoothly on an A500, but not on WinUAE on my machine. Press joystick fire button to start, use joystick to move, use diagonals to avoid getting stuck. Collect keys to complete the levels (there are 10 levels). You are the blue blob, avoid the red blobs, collect keys. There are invisible oneway teleports on some levels, these should be quite easy to find if you look at the map layout. BUGS: In WinUAE, the sprites disappear near the base of the screen. Sometimes the game locks up when starting, reset and try again! Joystick control LEFT MOUSEBUTTON exits BadDemo (updated 1999 build) Oh dear. Just skip this one, OK. It was just a test... LEFT MOUSEBUTTON exits Bat (original 1990 build) Tedious breakout type game, incomplete, but more than 1 level. Mouse control, LMB releases ball. JOYSTICK FIRE exits Project A (updated 1999 build) Incredibly, I managed to find all the parts to this 'work in progress' game (Project A was the working title). It is so smooth (50fps) on an A500 with parallax and overscan (totally fullscreen). I wonder why I didn't finish it? Joystick control, fire fires. Will exit at end (3mins). LEFT MOUSEBUTTON exits 'That Tennis Thing 99' (updated 1999 build) This was the game that accompanined Fatal Mission on the disk I released in 1992, when I re-released FM this game was left out. BUGS: If using UAE or Fellow, make sure you don't use Joystick config B (cursor keys and control) as you need to use the cursor keys on the menu. Use mouse and joystick (2 players only) ESCAPE key exits
