1. In order for EVEN/ODD/MARK/SPACE parity to work
   correctly, the file 'serial.device' in the directory
   'DEVS' MUST be on the disk that the logical 'DEVS:'
   is assigned to. The AMIGATERM disk contains an advanced
   version (as of June 1986) of the serial device.
   The easiest thing to do is to boot off of the
   AMIGATERM disk, as it contains the new serial device.
   If you want to boot off of another disk then perhaps
   you should copy the new serial device to the DEVS
   directory of your system disk.
   
2. The extended character set fonts of AMIGATERM are in
   the fonts directory of the AMIGATERM disk. If these
   files are deleted, then the corresponding character
   set will be unavailable.

3. Those of you wishing to use AMIGATERM as a direct
   connect to a host computer will be pleased to know
   that the actual throughput of the program is over
   9000 baud in VT52 and VT100 modes; slightly lower
   in TTY and AMIGA modes.

4. The public domain program 'fixobj' can be found in
   the C directory of the AMIGATERM disk. It converts
   commands/programs downloaded via the XMODEM protocol
   into a file that can be run. This is required due to
   the fact that the XMODEM protocol works in blocks
   of 128 bytes and pads the end of the file with extra
   characters (CTRL-Z's). To use fixobj, select the CLI
   icon and then type 'fixobj file1 file2' where file1
   is the original file downloaded via XMODEM and file2
   is the desired name of the executable file.
