MegageM 1903 Adria Santa Maria CA 93454 (805)349-1104 In addition to MegageM software products (LuCypher, HAMandel, FractalPro) mentioned elsewhere in this catalog, we are pleased to offer a growing selection of inexpensive disks with image slideshows, animation files, scientific demo programs, and collections of outstanding public domain fractal software. Each (except Myra'sWorld) includes the viewing tools needed to enjoy them. Catalog - This is a disk with our complete catalog including sample FractalPro pictures, our ad graphic, and all the text files of this short form catalog. It is free with any order, or $2.50 alone. The $2.50 is refundable (once) with any later order!. SlideShow1 is a set of HAMandel images of Mandelbrot and Julia Sets as well as a couple of examples showing HAMandel pictures 'texture mapped' onto 3-d scenes with TurboSilver. The slideshow operation is easy to 'launch' from a WorkBench icon using a 'doubleclick' of the mouse. Includes FracWrap1 by Lou Markoya (terrific HAMandel pics texture-mapped onto smooth shapes with TurboSilver). SlideShow2 is completely NEW set of different HAMandel images including some deep zooms near 1 Trillion X and more. Gorgeous. SlideShow3 is a new set of unusual images from the 'dust' region outside the usual Mandelbrot set area. These are interesting. Spheres1 is a completely NEW animation (icon-operated as above) of HAMandel images wrapped onto spheres with shaded lighting. Also a group of single pics of HAMandel pics wrapped on spheres. These were made with the Planet program (see FracPak1, below). Also includes a program to break up an ANIM into individual IFF pics. The ANIM file here is about 200K and has 30 pics (each at 12 degree intervals). Spheres2 is a completely NEW animation (icon-operated as above) of HAMandel images wrapped onto spheres with shaded lighting. Also a group of single pics of HAMandel pics wrapped on spheres. These were made with the Planet program (see FracPak1, below). Also includes a program to break up an ANIM into individual IFF pics. The ANIM file here is about 500K and has 72 pics (each at 5 degree intervals). MyrasWorld is a completely NEW animation of a lovely woman, surprised to find a Fractal World materializing and rotating on her outstretched hand. The ANIM is over 800K and you'll need at least 1 Meg of memory. The disk is completely packed with the ANIM file, so you'll need the ShowAnim5.3 program from any of the Movie or Spheres disks to view it. The ANIM continuously loops. Impossible Astronomy is a NEW animation of a rotating fractal world with a orbiting rotating fractal moon. This disk has the showanim and a simple point/click icon to start and show the anim. Requires 1 Meg. Movie1 is the original AutoMag (version 1.0) demo disk with a 600K ANIM format animation. It is a 22-frame continuously looping Mandelbrot Set animation, but you'll need about 1MEG memory to get the smooth loop effect. Less memory is OK, but the smooth looping will be absent. Icon-operated. Movie2 is another Mandelbrot Set animation made with the original AutoMag. This one is on the 'spike' at the left end of the Mandelbrot Set. Movie3 is an animation made using FractalPro 3.0. It's a continuously looping 'breathing' Cube Julia set. It smoothly pulsates larger then smaller through a magnification of about 2X. It is icon-operated. JuliAnim1 is an all NEW animation of zooming in on a Julia Set from very tiny to full size, 67 frames in all (and all on one floppy!). JuliAnim2 is an all NEW animation made with FractalPro4.0 of a regular Julia Set Cascade which shows twisting, turning, snapping effects. JuliAnim3 is an all NEW animation made with FractalPro4.0 of a Cube Julia Set Cascade which rotates, sparkles, implodes, explodes, etc. WolfPak1: demo and interactive scientific programs by Daniel Wolf, Ph.D.: Net8 - Neural network 'learns' to convert position to a binary number Dcel - Cellular automaton which generates multi-colored arabesques BZcel- CA generates spiral waves a la the Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction Hilbert - fast demo of the Hilbert Curve fractal (adapts to interlace) Dragon - fast demo of the Dragon Sweep fractal (adapts to interlace) PolyFrac - fractal line drawings (Dragon, Hilbert, and several 'trees' OneLiner - compact, efficient WorkBench/mouse-oriented CLI command shell TwoLiner - similar to OneLiner with two command string gadgets, can COPY BookErrata - Errata of Compute!s Amiga Machine Language Programming Guide Pictures - a selection of a few HAMandel images to whet your appetite FracPak1: collection of public domain/shareware tools, demos, and toys - Scenery - draws nice fractal landscapes of mountains and lakes Cloud - makes fractal clouds FastGro - irregular fractals simulating diffusion-limited aggregation JuliaII - draws Julia Sets Chaos - generates a 30,000 point Serpinski 'gasket' FracGen - fractal line drawings from 'generators' you can create Chaosser- graphical simulations of 'chaotic dynamics' equations Planet - Smoothly 'wrap' any IFF image on a sphere.
