Cloanto Amiga Forever Emulation Environment - Reference

You are running an emulated Amiga. This is a disk image containing
version 1.3 of the Amiga Workbench, which works best in combination with
the corresponding 1.3 ROM image, providing an environment which is
compatible with Amiga games and productivity applications that require
version 1.3 of the Amiga operating system. (Amiga Forever also includes a
preinstalled 3.x OS environment, which is more suitable than version 1.3
 for running newer Amiga programs.)

The "ReadMe.txt" and "Boing" items have been included on the Workbench
disk for your convenience (they are not part of the original 1.3 OS).

The Boing software is a well-known demonstration software which was used
to show off the capabilities of the very first Amiga. To launch it,
double-click on the Boing icon, which will start the software in a
background screen. In case you wonder why the mouse pointer changes color
a few times while the software is loading, this is because the Boing demo
was processed using a popular Amiga executable file compression utility,
which is one of many examples of technology which was available to the
Amiga community almost 10 years before other platforms had anything
comparable. To move the Boing screen to the front, select the left of the
two gadgets on the Workbench screen bar. Click anywhere on the Boing
screen to start or stop the ball. Click on the top left corner to exit
the demo. Please note that the mouse pointer is reduced to a single pixel
during the demo, so it is barely visible. For maximum animation and sound
performance, it is best to enable audio in the emulation software only on
machines with at least a 300 MHz Pentium II CPU, or equivalent
 performance.

On the Windows version of UAE, as well as in Fellow, you can press F12 to
display the settings window of the emulator. (Please note that in some
other versions of the emulation software, pressing F12 will cause the
 emulator to exit.)

 Windows Keyboard Shortcuts

The standard Windows shortcuts can be used to cycle and quit
applications: press Alt+Tab to cycle from one program to the other (hold
the Alt key down, and repeatedly press Tab to select a program, and
release the Alt key to activate the selected program); Alt+F4 will
 terminate the emulation session.
