CAT φ FORM κFTXTTCPPBTCPHKCHRS «›€›€ July 29, 1988›€ ›€›€ ›€Dear Mom & Dad,›€ ›€›€ ›€ I, as you can guess, received the printer all right. It works great. I've printed out all my manuals that were on disk and am currently involved in learning to use some of my programs that I couldn't use before. Oh well enough about the computer.›€ ›€ My car is running great I have 2522.6 miles on it. I'm going to get the oil changed next week. I looked at it and it looked fine and it didn't feel all that gritty. The windshield is no longer making the noise, it must have fixed itself. Oh well that's all the better for me.›€ ›€ Work is getting better, I'm finally signed off on something, signed off means I can work on something alone, however the matter is classified so I can't ay what it is. I found out this week that I will be getting a new trainer, however he is on swing (Second) shift which means I'm going to swing shift very shortly. Swing shift varies when they come in usually 1545 to whenever the work is done. My roommate is on swings and he loves it. He rarely works over six hours, so I'm going to love it also, these eleven hour days an morning (First) shift are taking there toll on me.›€ ›€ How are thing going back home? Any problems? Nothing to report here except the weather HOT, HOT, HOT, HUMID, HUMID, HUMID. I can't wait till fall and winter. In the fall down here it averages 75›ƒo›€, and in the winter it averages 55›ƒo›€. The only thing I'll miss is the snow. It doesn't look like I'll be able to come home for christmas right now, reason being it's a comm rule not to let any 3-Level on leave, except emergency, until he finishes his CDC'S. I haven't got mine to start working on them yet. There are six volumes to the comm CDC's. Each one is supposed to be completed in a month, my trainer thinks will by grades out of tech school I should be able to comprehend a volume in three weeks. That being the case I would have to get my CDC's within two weeks, ›‚FAT ›€chance. Oh well I getting tired of typing right now so I finish this letter tomorrow.›€›€ ›€ July 30, 1988›€ ›€ Well nothing much going on around here today. There is no real big hurry to get my bowling ball to me. Oh by the way I recieved my copy of my birth certificate, the people at the shop said that would be fine. So as you can tell I pretty well settled in now. Over the next few weeks I will be going to the education office to see about my degree, or see what classes I need for my degree. I decieded to wait till I get my pay raise in September before setting up the allotment to dad. September 3›ƒrd›€ is when I am supposed to be promoted to A1C. Oh well thats all I have for now.›€ ›€ Love›€ ›€›€ ›€ P.J.
